Currently we offer sexual harassment and bullying prevention training for California employers of all types. Our training complies with California’s requirements pursuant to AB 1825 and SB 1343, which requires California employers with five or more employees to provide sexual harassment and bullying prevention training every two years. California requires that non-supervisors take one hour of training and supervisors take two hours of training. However, our two-hour trainings are appropriate for all employees, and they encourage all employees to think like leaders.

Yes. Our training complies with AB 1825 (Assembly Bill 1825) and SB 1343 (Senate Bill 1343), which sets forth California’s training requirements.

The training designed for non-supervisors takes one hour. The training designed for supervisors (but appropriate for all employees) takes two hours.

Yes. Each employee receives a Certificate of Completion, along with bonus materials, upon completion of the course.

We showcase ordinary to absurd workplace scenarios from the fictional sports drink company SWOLE in our trainings, interspersed with commentary from Ray Leonard, Jr., actress Mahogany Jackson, and employment attorney Susanna Matingou to keep employees engaged.

Training requirements vary by state. Even if your company is located in a state that does not mandate sexual harassment prevention training, harassment and bullying prevention training is recommended. Harassment prevention trainings promote a respectful, inclusive workplace, reduce the risk of liability, and foster a positive company culture. Our generalized, non-state-specific 1-Hour (designed for non-supervisors) and 2-Hour (designed for supervisors but appropriate for all employees) trainings are recommended for employers in all states where this training is not mandated. It depends. California uses a threshold of five INDIVIDUALS at the workplace to determine if they must provide training. Any employer that has five individuals at the workplace — not just employees, but a combination of any five of the following — employees, independent contractors, volunteers, paid and unpaid interns — must provide training to all of the EMPLOYEES. Interestingly, even if your company meets the threshold of five individuals, only the employees (not the independent contractors, etc.) are required by law to be trained. However, if your company meets the five-individual threshold, best practices would include training all of the individuals at the workplace — not just the employees. Example: ABC Company has three employees and two volunteers. ABC Company meets the five-individual threshold, so, pursuant to California law, they must provide sexual harassment and bullying prevention training to their three employees. However, it is highly recommended that all five of the individuals receive the same sexual harassment and bullying prevention training. Our trainings do more than assist employers with “checking a box” — our trainings encourage a respectful, productive workplace and provide everyone with tips to navigate common scenarios.
